I love to cook and feed the people I love, and fortunately they love to eat. The food and recipes featured here are mostly rustic and family oriented with a strong Italian flavour.

I am a writer by day and in the evening I need to get away from the screen and use my hands, so I cook. Sharing food has a deep primal significance for humans. I don’t know that sharing recipes is quite on the same level but I enjoy blogging about food and cooking and that’s reason enough to be doing it.

I live in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia, a dry state known for producing wheat, wine and olives. I keep hens and a dog, like walking and travel, reading and being with – and cooking for – my husband, kids, family and friends.
